Travel Bloggers United: Passports With Purpose 2010

On Monday, if you are on Twitter or follow many of travel bloggers, you will probably have heard or read about ‘Passports With Purpose 2010′. I’m late to the party but there is no rule against participating late in the game.

What is Passports with Purpose?

Passports With Purpose is the charity event started by 4 travel writers/bloggers (Debbie Dubrow, Pam Mandel, Beth Whitman and Michelle Duffy) who want to give back to community while building a community of travel bloggers.

Last year, with the help of travel community from bloggers, readers, and companies, we helped raise $30,000 to build a school in Cambodia. A school! A SCHOOL! It was a great way to use social media!

Passports With Purpose 2010: Build a Village in India with LAFTI

This year, Passports with Purpose partners up with LAFTI International to help build a village in India. Our goal is $50,000! I am so happy to see that after the first day launch, we have already raised $30,000.

BUT, we still have a way to go. Plus it won’t hurt to raise more than our goal.

How Can We Help?
