We couldn’t visit Seattle without stopping by the famous Pike Place Market. The color of produces from various stands from local farmers and sellers is just too vibrant to ignore.
Today’s Photo Friday I want to show just a fracture of what we had seen and captured during our walking tour with Shutter Tour, a photography tour with knowledge photographer and tour guide.
Check out other travelers’ photo from Photo Friday at Delicious Baby.

Oooh, I love foody photos! Great colours and now I’m hungry…
Me too, Anna! Every time I look at the pictures I took from the Pike Place it reminds me of all the food they have there.
i echo anna – i LOVE food photos, it makes me happy and hungry at the same time. and i REALLY love pike place. YUM!
Me too! I love Pike Place, I love Seattle, I love Pacific NW! :)
LOVE these photos! SO striking and bold!
Thanks, Karon! It helps that I was on the Photo tour. :)
You are making me think I should head downtown today and hit the market for some lunch. I miss working around the corner from it. Rarely have I found a tourist attraction so heavily used by locals. But really, the fresh food markets are one of the best reasons to live in Seattle!
I totally agree. One of a few attractions that is not cheesy and touristy. Many locals actually do shop there!
Great photos! You may have just inspired me to go out in the 105 degree heat and visit the farmer’s market.
Thanks for stopping by Jessica!
Well, I don’t know if I will brave the heat in Atlanta but I’m glad I can inspire you. :) Being in Seattle helped us to do all the outdoor activities more too. Their summer weather is our spring time.
Don’t you just love the colors of the market? You’ve done a great job of capturing them!
Thanks, Beth! You are so lucky to live there. I love love Seattle!
I like that place when I am in seattle, too. I always stop by Sur La Table which is nearby, also.
Huh, I might have to add that to the list for our return visit. :)
The colors of the fruits and peppers are just so vibrant. Love the photos!
Thank you, Kirk!
You know how to get the “best side” of food. Wait, is there a bad side? Great pics; now I’m hungry. Thanks. :)
We were just in Seattle last week. I was amazed by the beautiful poppies and peonies at the market.
Thanks so much for taking our tour and it looks like you had a great time in the city and glad you enjoyed our favorite place to shoot, The Pike Place Market.
