oh, wow! First of all, how old were your kids when you travelled to Thailand with them? How were they during the long flight. That’s my biggest worry re: taking my child to Asia. Secondly, I didn’t know this place existed in Bangkok. I’ve been there 2x but had not heard of this place :) Thanks for sharing, Amy!

I still haven’t been to Thailand, but now I feel like it’s sort of become the American hotspot (right up there with Costa Rica), you know? And that maybe I should wait a few years until it’s no longer cool again. You’re lucky you made it there when you did.

What a great place to go with the kids! My parents went to Thailand after we left the house and they just loved it. I have to get to that side of the world!!!

I was intrigued by your post title…we spent three weeks in Thailand with our son. It was one of our best trips ever but still felt like we have more to see. It is an amazing country and your kids are so lucky to have you and your family there to share it with them on your visits. We can’t wait to get back.

@Jessie: Yes, I think it will actually take more than a day to see everything there. We practically skimmed the whole city with 3 kids in our group at that time. I would love to go back again.
