One of the fun thing we looked forward to on our Carnival Cruise was the towel animal that would be waiting for us on our bed or inside our room. We didn’t know what we will find so it was a big fun for the kids.
Here are animals we found in our cabin on our Carnival Cruise a couple years ago. Enjoy! :)

Those towel animals are so cute! Can you help me? I’m trying to find children’s books to share with my children before our RTW trip, to give them an idea of the countries we are planning on visiting. What are the best Thai children’s books (in English preferably!) which give a really good flavour of Thailand? I’d really appreciate it if you could have a think…
Thanks!
I wonder if there is some towel-animal training course that the cabin stewards take. We’ve had towel animals, but none as elaborate as this! Cute!
wow, those towel animals are really elaborate. It must have been real fun for your kids to find new animals in the cabin. The monkey and the elephant are very cute!
The monkey was our favorite on our Carnival cruise. We bought a book telling how to make the animals so we could try to make them at home.
These are absolutely darling! That monkey is hilarious!!
The monkey is my favorite! How did they attach him to the ceiling? So cute.
Woah – how’d they do the last one? Cool (although slightly freaky if you didn’t know he was waiting on you in your dark room :P)
The towel animals are awesome. My kids would have gone nuts over those!!!!
slightly ridiculous but huge fun at the same time, kids or no kids
My first introduction to these new species, the towel animals. They’re fun, specially the monkey swinging free.
Wow! I’ve never seen towel animals before. These are so creative. What fun!
That’s cute. I would like know how to make this towel animals for my daughter.
Those are too cute!! I love the monkey at the end, I bet the kids just got such a kick out of that!
The sunglasses are a nice touch
It’s an experience unique to cruising, but seeing how well it goes over with the kids – I wonder why parents don’t take courses on towel art! Bathtime would be so much more fun!
Those are fantastic! I love the monkey too. But they all are pretty darn amazing:)
So true! Kids (& grown-ups) LOVE those towel sculptures! It just adds to the magic of a cruise vacation, doesn’t it?
