You know, I have never jumped off a boat! I’ve been on different boats plenty and never did that! I guess it’s time to try something new:)

Ahhh, dream it and it will come. You’re heading out west to San Diego, right? Even in the winter, hope you get a chance to enjoy the beach. Not as many stop overs as Thailand. ;)

I love the image of a new mother bravely jumping off a boat and then realizing how great it is – kind of a metaphor for parenting itself.

I agree with you that trips taken with small children are meant to be repeated, if only to see their reactions as they get older. And Thailand is on my list for sure.

You go lady! It can be scary jumping off of a boat, but you did it! I agree, I just love the food in Thailand. We are dreaming of sand and surf ourselves as Toronto has literally had one of the worst summers on record. Thank God we are leaving before winter hits, I would be really depressed to know that the cold weather is coming when we barely had a summer!
