The busy summer season has started. We are looking forward to many fun trips this summer.

First stop, we will be spending time at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge, a deluxe resort in Disney’s Animal Kingdom park, to celebrate Mr. Rojo‘s birthday weekend.

Here are a few friends we have met outside our balcony!

  1. Hey, I stayed there in February! Great place, definitely one of the best lodges on the Disney property!

  2. We really wanted to stay there when we were in Orlando. Looks so fabulous.

  3. Wow. Looks wonderful. I had no idea. We have a dream trip to that area in the works. Looking forward to seeing your other posts too!

  4. I’ve only been here once, when I was 17, and I remember what a fun park it was. Your kids would also love Safari West in Santa Rosa, California if you ever make it out to the Bay Area–it’s like an authentic safari experience (you ride a huge vehicle from one of the wars–can’t remember which–through fields of animals like zebras and rhinos) out in the open in the middle of Wine Country!

  5. I actually have been to Disney several times but never to Animal Kingdom. I was planning on taking the kids to Universal but this might be the new vacation destination.

  6. Those outlets alone are enough of a selling point for me! I am constantly amazed by how few outlets hotel rooms have (usually one or two at most), and even then, they’re always strategically placed behind an immobile bed so you can’t use them in the first place!

  7. So weird, I was reading your Seattle post and my comment went in here! Not sure what I did wrong…remedying that =)
