I can’t wait to take my little one camping. We’ve never been; we don’t even have a backyard to do a pseudo-camping adventure! My husband is a camping-phobe, by the way.

We’ve been all over with our kid, but haven’t been camping yet. My parents were camping nuts when I was growing up, so I think I developed an aversion to it. I have to say, you make it look so tempting…and fun! We may need to try it after all!

You really captured the essance of camping. By the way, I love your pictures here. We are also gearing up for fall camping. In California, its not that tough – just think lower elevations. May have to layer clothes a bit more, but the trees are fantastic!

@Jen – Yes, we had a great time. Where do you plan for your fall camping. We might try to do another trip in Fall as well. The kids are asking for more trip constantly.

@Dave&Deb – It’s amazing to just sit there, relax and look at the fire. So peaceful and we feel like we have been on a great vacation when we were just 10 minutes from home. :)
